Step-by-step Email Account Setup GuideConfiguring Outlook 2003 for use with a POP3 Tough email account. Open Outlook 2003 and select Tools -> Email Accounts
Select 'Add'
Select POP3 and click next.
Click the More Settings button and select the Outgoing Server tab.
Check the box next to 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication' and make sure the option 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server' is selected.
Select the Advanced tab. Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port to 2525, then click OK.
Use the Test Account Settings button to verify that the account is working properly. If any step fails double check the password and settings then try again. Once the test has completed properly, close the results window using the Close button, then click next and finally finish. That's it! You have successfully setup your email account.
